My stay at Holston House Nashville had its ups and downs. The location is fantastic, just a couple of minutes from Broadway, but the service and additional fees were frustrating. While the rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable, I felt nickel-and-dimed with unexpected charges and inconveniences during my visit.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious and decorated well, but I was disappointed by the lack of a closet and a comfortable chair. The shower was great, but the bed was way too firm for my liking.
Service
5.0
The staff were generally friendly, but the check-in process was a bit of a letdown, especially with extra fees and a dismissive attitude towards early access. I felt a bit disrespected when asking for a late checkout.
Location
9.0
You really can't beat the location—it's super close to Broadway's vibrant scene while still being quiet enough to relax. Perfect for exploring all the fun Nashville has to offer.
Dining
7.0
The restaurant had good breakfast options, but I was let down by the happy hour setup. It felt more like an afterthought than a proper service.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities like valet parking were convenient, but it was quite pricey. Also, the absence of simple amenities like water in the room at check-in was disappointing.

6.8/10

I had a nice stay at Holston House Nashville, thanks to its great location just a block off Broadway. The rooftop pool was definitely a highlight, but I did experience some issues with room cleanliness and service that dampened my overall experience. Adding a cocktail hour to the stay was a nice touch, but I think more attention to room upkeep is needed.

Rooms
7.0
My room was fairly average and didn't feel as clean as I expected. I found some hair ties and the floors could have been swept better. It's a bit run down with some peeling paint.
Service
6.0
The service was a mixed bag. While the valet staff was friendly, I encountered an issue with a staff member trying to enter my room without knocking, which made me uncomfortable. They also didn't handle a room issue very well during check-in.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is fantastic. Just a short walk from the lively Broadway scene, yet it felt peaceful enough to escape the noise when needed.
Dining
6.0
There was a nice snack selection in the lobby, but I missed breakfast due to a last-minute schedule change I wasn't informed about. That was disappointing.
Facilities
7.0
I enjoyed the rooftop pool and lounge area, and the valet parking was convenient. The additional charge for a cocktail hour was a nice surprise, but overall, I felt some facilities could be better maintained.

6.6/10

Overall, my stay at Holston House Nashville had its ups and downs. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Broadway, which was a major plus. However, I faced some frustrating issues with the extras and service during my visit. While the room was beautiful and modern, I was disappointed with some aspects that made the experience less enjoyable.

Rooms
7.0
I found my room to be nicely decorated and spacious enough, with a beautiful shower and comfortable bed. However, it was a little on the smaller side for my taste, lacking space for a cozy chair. The amenities like coffee and toiletries were good though! (I appreciated the large pump bottles for shampoo, conditioner, and soap.)
Service
5.0
The staff were generally friendly, but I did encounter a few hiccups. The front desk was not accommodating when I asked about a late checkout, and the initial response felt pretty dismissive (definitely not what I expected for a hotel at this price).
Location
9.0
The location is one of the hotel's strong points! It's just a block away from Broadway, which made it incredibly convenient for accessing bars, restaurants, and the entertainment strip. I didn't feel overwhelmed by tourist noise though, which was a nice balance.
Dining
7.0
I didn't dine extensively at the hotel, but I did enjoy a breakfast at the Tenn, which was quite good. I also appreciated the welcome drink, even if it was a bit small (a cocktail served in an egg cup isn't quite what I envisioned!).
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offers several nice facilities, including room service and valet parking (although that was pricey!). The bar area had a great vibe, and I liked the overall aesthetic of the place. However, I really wanted to see the rooftop pool, but that opportunity wasn't accommodated.

5.6/10

I had a great time at Holston House Nashville. The location was absolutely perfect for exploring the vibrant Broadway scene, and the valet staff were friendly and attentive. However, I did notice some wear and tear in the room, which detracted a bit from the experience. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning despite the minor issues.

Rooms
6.0
My room was clean and nicely renovated, but I was surprised by how small it felt, especially with all our luggage. The layout wasn't ideal, and some furnishings looked a bit dated.
Service
7.0
The valet team was particularly courteous, always greeting me with a smile. However, my experience with room service was not as positive; the food presentation and quality were disappointing.
Location
9.0
The hotel is in an ideal spot, just a short walk from the iconic attractions on Broadway, yet it felt peaceful enough for a good night's sleep.
Dining
5.0
While the room service options looked appealing on the menu, the execution left a lot to be desired with poorly presented food that was difficult to eat.
Facilities
6.0
The amenities were solid, and I appreciated the atmosphere in the lobby and bar. However, the room service experience was a letdown compared to what I expected from a hotel in this category.

6.4/10

My stay at Holston House Nashville was enjoyable overall, with some ups and downs. The unbeatable downtown location made it easy to explore the local attractions, and the staff was generally helpful. However, I encountered some cleaning issues and the room layout wasn't ideal for our needs.

Rooms
6.0
My room was tastefully decorated, but the layout was a bit cramped, making it difficult for both me and my partner to move around comfortably. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom shower, which had visible hair in the drain.
Service
6.0
While the valet staff was friendly and accommodating, I did experience some snippiness from the front desk staff when asking questions. The response time for a hairdryer replacement was also slower than expected.
Location
10.0
The location of the hotel is fantastic! I was just a short walk from Broadway and the Ryman Auditorium, making it easy to enjoy the local music scene and dining options.
Dining
6.0
Although the hotel advertised a restaurant, it was more of a small bar area. Fortunately, there were many great food halls nearby, offering plenty of dining choices.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offers various amenities, like valet parking and room service, but the lack of a spacious dining area was a drawback to my experience.
